Stephen Hunt is a Canadian journalist, and playwright who divides his time between Calgary and New York. He has written for the Los Angeles Times, Toronto Globe & Mail,the CBC,Saturday Night, Toro, Italian Rolling Stone,the New York Post, National Pubic Radio and Sports Illustrated, among many others. He teaches playwriting in the University of British Columbia’s MFA Program in Creative Writing and is the author of The White Guy: A Field Guide. His plays have been produced Off-Broadway at the Public Theatre, La Mama, Soho Rep, on Theatre Row , the West Bank, HBO Workspace and at Ensemble Studio Theatre, where he is a member.
